Bakudō

Bakudō No. 1 - Sai (Restrain)
Description: This is a restraining spell that contains the limbs to immobilize the enemy. The practitioner points using his/her index and middle fingers at the intended target(s), causing the target's arms to lock behind their back. The spell is usable on a single target or a significantly large group of people. Opponents of similar or greater spiritual pressure can easily break out of it.
Incantation: "Hand of God, come down and bind the demon. Lock away that which offends and hold it in your grasp."


Bakudō No. 4 - Hainawa (Crawling Rope)
Description: Binds enemies with a Reishi rope to stop their movement. The practitioner generates crackling yellow energy rope within his/her hand(s) and releases toward the opponent. The energy entangles itself around the opponents arms and body immobilizing them. This spell can also be used to lasso objects and bring them to the user or swing them through the air.
Incantation: "Spinner of fate, unwind and cast yourself."


Bakudō No. 8 - Seki (Repulse)
Description: Seki is primarily used for deflection. The practitioner generates an orb of light blue energy around his/her limb that rebounds an attack when said attack makes contact with it. The effect not only blocks the attack, but repels whatever strikes it. It's effective only for weaker hits, and is shattered after just a single hit.
Incantation: "May I be protected from the evils of this world, and shielded from all harm."


Bakudō No. 9 - Geki (Strike)
Description: Geki is primarily used for disabling. The practitioner draws the symbols of the spell in the air which causes his/her entire body to permeate a red energy. The same red energy engulfs the body of the target and causes complete paralysis.
Incantation: "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini. Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat."


Bakudō No. 9 - Hōrin (Disintegrating Circle)
Description: Hōrin is primarily used to disable. The practitioner uses the index and middle fingers and generates an orange-hued tendril with spiraling yellow patterns to ensnare the opponent as the tendril wraps around their body immobilizing them. The end of it remains in the hands of the user allowing them to control the path of the tendril before and after capture. The Kidō is able to connect with another one of itself if both have captured a target and bind them together.
Incantation: "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini. Look upon yourself with horror and tear out your own throat."


Bakudō No. 11 - Inemuri (Forced Slumber)
Description: This technique knocks the victim unconscious when the user places their palm in front of their face. For a moment, the victim's pupil's dilate several times before they fall unconscious.
Incantation: Unknown


Bakudō No. 21 - Sekienton (Red Smoke Escape)
Description: Sekienton is primarily used for escape. The practitioner places the palms of their hands down on the ground and a red smoke bursts forth from the point of contact, swiftly engulfing the surrounding area and briefly obscuring the movements of whomever is within the smoke, allowing a quick getaway.
Incantation: "The bleeding Auriga rides through the void desert. The ascending cloud forsakes the blind hermit."


Bakudō No. 22 - Shibireyubi (Numbing Finger)
Description: The user places a finger in front of the victim's face and a ball of white energy flashes momentarily before their eyes. The victim is immediately incapacitated and falls to the ground whilst still conscious and aware of what is going on around them.
Incantation: Unknown


Bakudō No. 26 - Kyokko (Bent Light)
Description: Hides the physical form and Reiatsu of the caster by bending light.
Incantation: "Blind them from what they think they see, hide my power from what they think they know. Make them ignorant of my strength."


Bakudō No. 30 - Shitotsu Sansen (Beak-Piercing Triple Beam)
Description: Shitotsu Sansen is primarily used to disable. The practitioner generates a burst of crackling yellow energy in his/her palm and uses that energy to draw an inverted yellow triangle. The triangle then generates solidified energy in the shape of triangles from the three points of the inverted triangle. The fired triangles hit the intended target and pin him/her against a nearby surface, slamming into his or her body in three places in the shape of a perfect triangle and immobilize the target.
Incantation: "Three sparrows fall from heaven. The fallen Garuda faces the sky."


Bakudō No. 37 - Tsuriboshi (Suspending Star)
Description: Tsuriboshi is primarily used to catch. The spell creates a ball of blue energy that fires out six "ropes" from its center. The "ropes" attach themselves to any sturdy nearby object and the energy in the center solidifies into a flat elastic-like cushion. The spell can stop falling objects similar to a safety net.
Incantation: "Gods of the heavens, shine thy helping hand upon the Earth. Protect thy faithful servant."


Bakudō No. 39 - Enkosen (Round Lock Fan)
Description: Enkōsen is primarily used for defense. The practitioner can use either both hands or his/her Zanpakutō in a blocking motion. The spell then generates a dull yellow energy in front of the practitioner that takes the form of a large spinning disk of condensed Reiatsu to block an opponent's attack.
Incantation: "Shield me from the blows of my enemy."


Bakudō No. 50 - Tanma Otoshi (Time-Out Drop)
Description: The user of this technique holds the palm of their hand over the victim's face. White light emanates from their hand, disorientating the victim and causing them to black out.
Incantation: "Air and water, create a fog to make them sleep for a short while. Hypnotic mist."


Bakudō No. 58 - Kakushitsuijaku (Summoning of the Tracking Sparrows)
Description: Kakushitsuijaku heightens the user's senses and awareness to seize a target. Kakushituikaku is primarily used for tracking and locating any spiritual force the user focuses on. The practitioner draws a circle with the appropriate symbols set apart in four quadrants upon the ground using a black powder. They then place their hands palms down just under the circle to activate the spell. The circle glows with a blue light as the symbols are animated within the circle, causing various numbers to appear within until the specific set is found. The number set seems to be a variation on longitude and latitude.
Incantation: "Heart of the south, eye of the north, finger of the west, foot of the east, arrive with the wind and depart with the rain."


Bakudō No. 61 - Rikujōkōrō (Six Rods Prison of Light)
Description: A restraint spell which immobilizes enemies with six spiritual bands. The practitioner points his/her index finger at the target generating a spark of yellow energy. That energy summons six thin, wide beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. The target is then unable to move any part of their body including the parts that were not struck by the beams. This technique can also be used after using Hainawa, as the six beams of light form from the light already used in Hainawa.
Incantation: "Carriage of thunder, bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six."


Bakudō No. 62 - Hyapporankan (Hundred Steps Fence)
Description: Hyapporankan is primarily used to disable. The practitioner generates a blue-white glowing rod of energy in his or her hand and throws it at the intended target. It then duplicates itself into a hundred more rods which rain down on the target, pinning him or her against a solid surface and completely immobilizing them. The power is hard to dodge in a small area.
Incantation: "Pin the foe, pierce his flesh and hold him firm, do not let him move."


Bakudō No. 63 - Sajo Sabaku (Locking Bondage Stripes)
Description: Binds an enemy with a Reishi chain. A mid-level restraint spell. The practitioner raises his/her palm up to the target and closes his/her hand into a fist. The spell calls forth a yellow energy in the form of very thick chain to ensnare an opponent. It's similar to Hainawa, but much stronger. This spell binds the upper body of a target. Physical strength alone should not be enough to break out of a Level 60+ Bakudō, however it can be done with immense levels of power.
Incantation: "Castling titan. Serpentine wind. Forsaken by your own greed. The endless chain entangles the dying sun."


Bakudō No. 73 - Tozanshō (Inverse Mountain Crystal)
Description: Tozanshō is primarily used for defense. The spell ignites at a single point as blue energy and extends upward to four points and creates an inverted pyramid that solidifies into a barrier around the caster. The spell is usable around other already active spells. It can also be used to trap others inside of it.
Incantation: "Hide me from these prying eyes, those judging faces. Keep secret my thoughts and feelings, from all that bear their gazes upon me."


Bakudō No. 73 - Hakufuku (White Crawl)
Description: When this technique is used, the target sees the illusion of purple cherry blossoms falling around them. Their vision then begins to blur and becomes unfocused as their consciousness becomes muddled, disoriented, and confused. Shortly thereafter, the target blacks out altogether, losing consciousness, only to awaken with an unclear memory of what occurred.
Incantation: "White storm, drifting cloud. Overcome with a peaceful feeling, lay down your head and rest. Leave silence in my wake."


Bakudō No. 75 - Gochūtekkan (Quintet of 1 kan Iron Pillars)
Description: Seals a target within five giant iron pillars. The practitioner clasps his or her hands together as five small yellow orbs with skinny tails emerge from between his clasped hands. They move up above his or her head and form into a circle of five. The practitioner raises their clasped hands up above their head, then lowers them downwards, sending the orbs into the ground. A bright light is generated in the sky above the intended target, which summons five incredibly tall and thick pillars, which are connected to each other by chains, to pin a target to the ground.
Incantation: "Walls of iron sand, a priestly pagoda, glowing ironclad fireflies. Standing upright, silent to the end."


Bakudō No. 77 - Tenteikūra (Heavenly Rickshaws in Silken Air)
A technique to simultaneously transmit one's voice to a large number of people. Utilized during large-scale battles. Tenteikūra is primarily used for communication. The practitioner draws symbols upon his/her arms, hands and the ground using a black powder. The practitioner then places his/her palms away in front and generates a glowing rectangular box. He/She then enacts various movements of the hands to create various root-like extensions in the air which connect to the glowing rectangle. Upon once again placing his/her hands up to the rectangle and activating the spell the root-like extensions glow creating a network extending out from the rectangle. The spell transmits messages mentally to anyone within an area of the caster's choosing. The messages can be spoken either by the caster or by another within the vicinity of the caster.
Incantation: "Black and white net. Twenty-two bridges, sixty-six crowns and belts. Footprints, distant thunder, sharp peak, engulfing land, hidden in the night, sea of clouds, blue line. Form a circle and fly though the heavens."


Bakudō No. 79 - Kuyō Shibari (Nine Sunlight Traps)
Description: Kuyō Shibari is primarily used to disable. The practitioner creates eight black holes with purple outlines that emit spiritual energy in the personal space surrounding the target, with the ninth black hole manifesting itself in the center of the target's chest. The intended point is to severely immobilize the target.
Incantation: "Demonic lord, blot out the sun. Place my foe into the land of eternal night, and rip apart his body for your sustenance."


Bakudō No. 81 - Dankū (Splitting Void)
Description: A spell which creates a defensive wall to shield an enemy's attack. The practitioner creates a translucent barrier in the form of a large rectangular wall. It is capable of stopping Kidō-based attacks with power up to level 89.
Incantation: "Protect me, oh heavenly wall. Bind the forces of the way of destruction and throw them to the ground."


Bakudō No. 90 - Noren Mekuri (Curtain Stripping)
Description: Noren Mekuri is a spell used to nullify types of illusory effects that may be used to conceal something from view. The practitioner extends their hand and appears as though they are gripping thin air before stripping away the technique that is currently in effect. Doing so creates a light blue and violet aura around the the object that is being revealed as they gradually come into view.
Incantation: "No more games, wise man, show me what it is your hiding."


Bakudō No. 99, Part 1 - Kin (Seal)
Description: Kin is primarily used to disable. The practitioner holds his/her palms away from him/her with the arms extended out to the sides and clasps his/her hands together with the fingers intertwined intricately. The spell then binds the arms of a target to their back like Sai, but with spiritual fabric and iron shafts. In addition to wrapping the spiritual fabric around the entire body, the spell continues to pin the target with the spiritual fabric stacked to the ground around the target with several iron shafts in an "X" shape.
Incantation: "The power to halt the strongest warrior, sing."


Bakudō No. 99, Part 2 - Bankin (Great Seal)
Description: Bankin is primarily used to disable. The practitioner slams his/her fingers into the ground releasing white spiritual energy that forms into a white fabric. The fabric engulfs the opponent completely covering him/her from head to toe (First Song), the opponent is then stabbed by numerous metal bolts (Second Song), and then the opponent is smashed with an immense metal cube from above (Final Song).
Incantation: "First Song - Halting wrap"
"Second Song - Hundred Serial Bolts"
"Final Song - Full Ban Great Mount"
