Basic Information

Looks:

Tenshu stands 6 feet tall and weighs about 167, which is all muscle. He has a light complexion and wash board abs. He has light blonde hair which falls down to his neck, allowing his eyes just to see. From one of his battles, he received a scar running from across his face, down his neck, and down his chest.

The wear he is wearing now is his attire in the Human World, but while in the Soul Society, he wears the traditional Shinigami robes, except his aren't so loose, they are not flaunted outwards. Also he doesn't have any sleeves on his robes and has a black hood on his, which he constantly has up.

Personality:
Despite his appearance, Tenshu is a very nice guy. He like to come on as a mean, scary person at first, but in reality, he is one of the nicest people you could meet. But to keep his look up, he constantly looks mad or bored, when really he could be happy or enjoying this.

He is a very smart Vice Captain, always assessing his situations before jumping into a battle blindly. When he first reaches battle, the first thing he does is kneel down on one knee, narrow his eyes, and observes his opponent. By just looking at the physique and way they move, Tenshu can determine the fighting style of his opponent quickly and go about his strategy.

Tenshu is also a very loyal and determined Vice Captain. He listens to what his Squad Leader tells him to do. He rarely talks back and suggests something else. But Tenshu does have a terrible habit of inputting his own opinions when he shouldn't. Tenshu has gotten better but still have issues.


Zanpakuto Information

Zanpakuto Name: Akiyo (White World)

Zanpakuto Looks:

Zanpakuto Description: Akyo, is a long, semi-curved katana. The hilt is a black color with a silver/white diamonds running up and down the hilt. The holster, is redish color with a dragon design on it. Tenshu's Zapankuto has no special abilities unreleased.

Released Zanpakuto Description: Once the incantation is spoken, Akiyo lets out a simmering light and lets out a haze. The haze is like a drug that messes with the sense of sight. Akiyo's released form, confuses the opponents eyes. Making them react more slowly, making Tenshu appear faster that he actually is. Although the opponent can still dodge, they may dodge too fast, allowing Tenshu to counter and strike, or makes them dodge too slow making it too late for them to get struck. One way of avoiding Akiyo's released form is to not look with ones eyes, but listen. But because of this weakness, Tenshu moves as quiet as possible.

Zanpakuto Release Phrase: "Light the world, Akiyo!"

Released Zanpakuto Looks:

Zanpakuto Spirit: A white wolf that leaves smoking footprints in its wake. Akiyo is a white wolf with the brightest and cleanest fur known to wolves. Akiyo is a special wolf, able to talk and walk on all fours. Also another feature of Akiyo that is different is that he contains opposable thumbs allowing him to weild a sword to train Tenshu.

Zanpakuto Realm: The cold mountains in which Akiyo reins as leader of the wolves. The mountains are always cold and there is always a light snowfall coming down. There is a flat land high up in the mountains where Akiyo lives with his den.

Binding spells

1. Restrain (塞, sai?) — Locks a target's arms in place behind their back.
4. Crawling Rope (這縄, hainawa?) — An energy rope entangles a target's arms.
9. Strike (撃, geki?) — Engulfs a target in red light, completely paralyzing them. "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat!"
30. Beak-Stab Triple-Flash (嘴突三閃, shitotsusansen?) — After using kido energy to draw out an equilateral triangle, the targets' arms and waist are pinned down and rendered immobile.
39. Arc Shield (円閘扇, enkosen?) — Summons a shield of energy to block opponents' attacks.
58. Summoning of the Tracking Sparrows (摑趾追雀, kakushitsuijaku?) — Tracks and locates any spiritual force the user focuses on. To activate it, the user must draw a circle on the ground, cut into four parts with a specific character in each. The incantation animates the circle, causing various numbers to appear within until the specific set is found. The number set seems to be a variation on longitude and latitude. "Heart of the south, eye of the north, finger of the west, foot of the east, arrive with the wind and depart with the rain."
61. Six Rods Prison of Light (六杖光牢, rikujōkōrō?) — Summons six thin, but wide, beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. Referred to as "Six Rod Light Restraint" in the English manga and "Six Bars of Light" in some of the games. "Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six!"
62. Hundred Stepped Rails (百歩欄干, hyapporankan?) — A rod formed of energy is thrown towards the target before it disintegrates into numerous short rods which are used to pin the target to the surroundings and render them immobile.
63. Winding Binding Chain (鎖条鎖縛, sajō sabaku?) — The target is wrapped from the neck down in a thick chain.
75. Quintet of 1 kan Iron Pillars (五柱鉄貫, gochūtekkan?) — Summons five incredibly tall and thick pillars to pin a target to the ground. "Walls of ironsand, a priestly pagoda, glowing ironclad fireflies. Standing upright, silent to the end."
77. Heavenly Rickshaws in Silken Air (天挺空羅, tenteikūra?) — Transmits messages to anyone within a specific area. In addition to reciting the spell, the user must draw specific markings on their arms, which are animated by the spell to convey the messages. "Black and white net. Twenty-two bridges, sixty-six crowns and belts. Footprints, distant thunder, sharp peak, engulfing land, hidden in the night, sea of clouds, blue line. Form a circle and fly though the heavens."
81. Splitting Void (斷空, dankū?) — Creates an energy barrier in the form of a rectangular wall. According to Byakuya, it is capable of stopping destructive spells up to #89.
99, Part 1. Restrict (禁, kin?) — Binds the arms of a target with spiritual fabric and iron shafts.
99, Part 2. Great Seal (卍禁, bankin?) — This spell's effects are divided into three "songs":
First Song: Halting Fabric (初曲・止繃, shokyoku: shiryū?) covers a target from head to toe with a binding cloth.
Second Song: Hundred Linked Bolts (弐曲・百連閂, nikyoku: hyakurensan?) stabs the target with numerous thick needles.
Final Song: Great Seal of 10,000 Forbiddings (終曲・卍禁太封, shūkyoku: bankin taihō?) smashes the target with an immense boulder

Destcructive spells

1. Thrust (衝, shō?) — Pushes the target away from the caster.
4. White Lightning (白雷, byakurai?) — Fires a concentrated bolt of white lightning from the caster's forefinger.
31. Shot of Red Fire (赤火砲, shakkahō?, Red Flame Cannon in the English dub) — Fires a ball of red fire at a target. "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!"
33. Blue Fire, Crash Down (蒼火墜, sōkatsui?, Pale Fire Crash in the English dub) — Fires a column of blue fire at a target in a similar manner to 31, but over a wider area and with more power. "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws."
54. Abolishing Flames (廃炎, haien?) — Fires a blast of purple fire that will incinerate a target completely when it makes contact.
58. Whirling Tempest (闐嵐, tenran?) — A widening tornado-like blast is fired towards the target.
63. Thunder Roar Cannon (雷吼炮, raikōhō?) — Fires a massive wave of yellow lightning at a target. "Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!"
73. Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down (双蓮蒼火墜, sōren sōkatsui?) — Essentially a doubled version of #33, this spell fires two shots of blue fire with greater potency than the single-shot variety. "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens."
88. Flying Dragon Striking, Heaven-Shaking, Lightning Cannon (飛竜撃賊震天雷砲, hiryūgekizokushintenraihō?) — Fires a massive blast of spiritual energy in a fashion similar to a laser.
90. Black Coffin (黒棺, kurohitsugi?) — Forms a box of black energy around a target, which is then pierced by dozens of energy "spears", lacerating the one inside from head to toe. Aizen notes that the spell only reached a third of its destructive potential the one time he uses it, indicating that the spell would be far more damaging at full power. Its appearance and function is reminiscent of a common magician's trick, as well as certain torture devices used during the Spanish Inquisition.

Description: Once the Incantion is complete, Tenshu will hold up his hand and a large blinding light will emerge from it, blinding anyone, but Tenshu for a post.

Name: Satchel Charge

Incantation: With the power of one, two, three, make this light go free!
Description: Before speaking the incantation, Tenshu will have place three, almost invisble orbs surrounding the opponent. While fighting, Tenshu will have secretly placed a orb on the desired spot. Once this has been done three times, Tenshu will back off and incite the incantation. Once the cantation is complete, the orbs will begin to get extremely bright then explode anything with a ten foot radius of the orbs. Will not kill anyone unless they are near death. Will cause a lot of pain.

Incantation: Let the light of the body be shone and blown!
Description: After the incantation is spoke, Tenshu's body begins to glisten with a soft glow, but as he gathers energy, Tenshu releases it all creating a big blast of light that sends a shockwave to his nearby opponents that repel them away. If attacked during the charge phase, Tenshu receives a mild blast that weakens Tenshu.

Name: Light Bomb

Element: Light
Incantation: With the power of light, let you shine bright!
Description: After the incantation is spoken, Tenshu will flick several light orbs at his opponent, attempting to hit them. For each hit on the opponent, the orb will explode on contact of anything. Ex. Tenshu flicks mini orbs and do no harm unless the enemy is struck. If the enemy is struck a mini poof happens making the opponent stumble backwards from the hit.

Incantation: With my body channel it, use it, direct it, send the light blast!
Description: Once the incantation is complete, Tenshu will expose as much of his body as he could, and send a body blast of light at the enemy.

History and RP sample

History:
Human Arc
Tenshu Gushiken was born in Toyko, Japan in the early 1900's. He lived most of his life as a carefree, happy kid. From a young age he was always always shy but outgoing with his close group of friends. But one day when he around the age of 16 or 17, Tenshu was hanging out with a girl he really liked. Smiling, they were walking across the street, it was late at night and all of a sudden a pair of headlights appeared, speeding towards them quickly, not enough time to get out of the way, Tenshu pushed the girl out of the way, before getting hit and sent into the ground. Tenshu died there, saving his love.

Rukongai Arc
Being reborn into the Soul Society, Tenshu, unlike other spirits, remembered his Human Life. Being disturbed and sad, fueled by his anger and sadness. Tenshu had a large amount of reiatsu, which he had no control over it at the time. Releasing large amounts when he was furious, made him a loner in the Rukongai. One day a shinigami was doing patrol through the Rukongai District, being a rude shinigami, he loved torturing the Rukongai. Tenshu, being only fifty years old in this realm, never aged, still looked 16. He still dreamed about his loved one and was mopey that day and was sitting in the streets.

The shinigami was kicking the Rukongai around, teasing them, beating the beggers. Tenshu looked up to see him. The shinigami was laughing but suddenly his face went pale as he felt a power of reiatsu higher than his going insanely. Tenshu's reiatsu was flowing violently out him as he narrowed his eyes. At this the shinigami left and brought back his squad leader to Tenshu, who was then enrolled into the Shinigami Academy.

Academy Arc
Entering the Academy, Tenshu was realtively young but learned to control his reiatsu. He soon began to learn many Kido spells. While in the Academy, many girls had an eye for him, but he never showed his face or any emotion towards them. He still felt the same for his loved one the day he died for. After graduation, he joined squad 13.

Squad 13, Starting Out
When he joined Squad 13, his first mission was to the Human World on a squad, to eliminate some Hollows. He left immediately and did his job dutifully. Advancing quickly and slaying the Hollows he did what ever he was told. But during one attack, a fellow Shinigami, a female, was tossed back and was about to be hit. A flashback hit him, to when it was with him and his love one. He dashed forward with his Zanpaktou, taking the full hit, injuring him greatly.

Tenshu landed bedrest for a month while his wounds healed. While on bedrest, his captain came to see while on rest, and congratulated him and wished him well. His captain promoted him to fifth seat. One of the higher seats on his squad. Tenshu got all happy and bowed and thanked him.

Squad 13, Moving Up
After healing, Tenshu began going on more solo missions. His first one was on patrol in the Human World. His job was to send the Ryoka to the Seretei and to stop Hollows. Being alone allowed him to get over his loved one, she would be happy, and he hoped she found love. After that mission, he returned to find out that he was promoted to Lietunant of Squad 13.

RP Sample:
Today was the day. He had returned back to the Soul Society. As he returned, a Hell Butterfly was awaiting his arrival. He stopped and raised his eyebrow as he turned to it.
"Welcome back to the Soul Society Tenshu Gushiken. This is an announcement notifying you of your promotion. Due to some conflicts in the Squad, you have been promoted to Squad Lietunant, please rush to the Meeting Room for your promotion."
Tenshu grinned as he flicked his hood up. Using Shunpo, he quickly made it to the rooftops and began dashing towards the meeting house. Upon his arrival, he placed his Zanpakuto outside the meeting house, and entered. Upon his entrance, he was greeted by two other Lietunants. He bowed thanking them as he kneeled on the ground.

"Congratulations Tenshu!" This was one of the girls Tenshu went to the Academy with. He nodded his head. "Thank you, Mizu." She blushed as Izumo then spoke, another student his grew up with in the Academy. "Tenshu, your now Lietunant of your squad. You will now be responsible for assisting your captain and going on more difficult and dangerous assignments for your captain." Izumo then pushed forward the band that instituted him as Squad Liutenant. Taking it he bowed. "Thank you, both of you." By now, he was wearing the band around his arm as he grabbed his Zanpakuto and Shunpo'd out of there.
