roune sonidos into the shrine, he hadn't been back since they'd gone to karakura and soul society, but it puts him at ease. this place holds memories, no matter how few, of ember, and being here makes him relax and feel much more calm then normal. he wits for the shinigami and for ember, he can't sense her but unless he tries he can barely sense anything, and the shrine holds her scent, so that's no real indicator

Ember looks up at him from her hiding place, her left hand buried again in her wolf friend's fur. The wolf in question barked a greeting to roune, startling Ember. She'd been half sleep. Leaning against her was a sleeping young orphan, clinging to her arm. Ember blushed, roune having shown up in her moment of kindness. The bandages on the little girl were strips of Ember's own pants. She didn't speak, though akira barked again.

Qtronix shunpos into the shrine, following Roune. He looked about, looking around the area for he hasn't been here for a while. Seeing that he is in a secure area, he dropped his cautiousness, and yawned. "So this is where Shiroshii is?" asked Qtronix to Roune.

roune smiles lightly at the sound of the bark, it had been too long since he'd seen akira. he crouches down and rubs the wolf's head as he looks curiously at the girl, tempted for a mere moment to think of her as prey but ember must of brought her here so he won't, then ember, which makes him smile more "i see you've brought someone as well. i got this shinigami because he said before that he knew about your brother, i thought he might be able to help you" he looks back at the soul reaper and gives a dismissive wave of his hand, signalling for him to talk to her, while he keeps petting akira

Ember looks off for a moment. "I orphaned her with my... outburst earlier. So she's my responsibility for now." She offers a quick grin and a kiss on roune's cheek. His words have her gasping quickly in surprise. "You didn't have to do that"

Qtronix looked at all the greetings, and watched the vaizards conversation. He fidgeted in his current position, and stood back a few paces from Ember, trying to be polite as possible, yet his guard was not down, for he was keeping a close eye on any threatening movements. He looked at Ember, and quickly, his mind flashed a picture of a young boy just before he was murdered by a hollow. It gave him a slight headache that he had to hold his head with a hand and look down. Somehow he wished he didn't have such sharp eyes. He saw the boy, and Ember, and the hollow, from a distance in which he cannot cross to save them in time. His vision blurred, but it cleared, and so he returned to his original state. He started with a deep sigh, "We meet again, Shiroshii. I will tell you everything I know, but please do not be disappointed if my information is not enough. If it isn't, I will search for him, but one man cannot do it alone."

roune stands up and in one smooth motion spins around behind her while wrapping his arms around her waist in a slightly protective posture, but leaves them loose enough to quickly pull away and let her draw her sowrd if she needs to "time is irrelevent, i have pelnty of that to search for her brother"

Ember detaches the little girl, looking at the two males. Quietly, so it's not mistaken for a threat, she says "That information is your life preserver. Do not think that, just because I protect orphans, that it means I really care about lives. If you betray my trust, then you better believe that I will not only kill you, but everyone you have ever known." No emotion marrs her voice, and she stares straight at him. Following that, she yawns widely and stretches.

Qtronix inhaled, and he started, "We know that souls eaten by Hollows are transported to Hueco Mundo if that Hollow is killed. The souls will emerge from the hollow's dead particles, in what is called its 'stomach', and they wander around for a while until they become hollows themselves. Seeing that you have capability of controlling both Shinigami and Hollow powers, your brother can, and may, have survived and soul buried by another shinigami. A young boy somehow rings some bells, and I saw him in Rukongai, near District 292. However, I'm not sure if he is your brother. Either we go and search in Rukongai, or we go to Hueco Mundo." After this, he caught his breath, then stood straight and looked Ember straight in the eye, showing no fear in losing his life, if all its purpose was happiness in someone else's life.

roune can't help but watch the way her body moves as she stretches. it's very....distracting "what do you want to do ember? the choice is your's, this is all about helping you and i'm willing do do whatever you want to find your brother, or at least find out whatever we can" even as he watches her he makes sure he never completely takes his gaze from the shinigami, he might have brought him here but he by no means trusts him

Ember frowns gently, thinking. "I'd say Rukon would be the better wager, but I'm not to sure it'd be considered peaceful at this point. We'd probably have to fight our way out if we got caught..." She thinks more, looking mostly at the kid. "You, soul reaper, I understand you want/like peace. But what if the cost is your life as it is now?"

Qtronix looked at Ember, then removed his zanpakuto from his belt, and puts it down, "Then I would gladly lose it for peace and unity." His life as it is now is not as valuable as peace, so if he couldn't achieve peace in his lifetime, why not die trying? And so, he fixed his haori, and stood straight, as if awaiting orders.

roune nods lightly at ember's words "you're right, rukongai would be the more dangerous choice, but it's also more likely to produce results. soul reaper, if it goes poorly and we do end up in a fight would you open a gate for us and let us escape from the soul society? it would be our only chance to survive but it would lead to disciplinary action against you to say the least. you say you'd give you life for peace but you not only have to worry about us betraying you, but your own comrades as well for helping us. i will do whatever i need to to help ember but i won't let her go there without your word to help us return when we want/need to"

Ember smirks a bit. "One cannot stand to gain much without risking much as well. What say you to roune's questions? Would you allow us to get away even if they held your loved one as a bargining chip? If they threatened the one you cared most for, saying that one would die if we got away... would you hold fast to your word? Trust doesn't come easy, I know of too many occasions where the hunter invited the fox into his home only to skin and eat the fox. But trust is a neccessity if we're to pull anything like this off. So I'll ask you straight, can I trust you not to abandon us to the 'mercy' of your comrades should things go sour? If not, then say it now. If the answer is no, then I'll let you leave unharmed for now. If the answer is yes, then we have some preparing to do." She wasn't thinking strictly like a soul reaper hating vaizard or even as an ex-captain of squad 11, she was just a big sister hoping for a chance to see her little brother again.

Shifting at the barrage of questions asked him, Qtronix sighed. He looked at both of them straight in the eye, and said, "If you get in a fight, not only will I open a gate for you to escape Soul Society, but I will defend your escape as well, even if my actions would mean certain death from either you or the 13 Court Guard Squads. As for bargaining chips, there's only one, well, two they could use. And I swear on my life, I would gladly see them die if that's what it takes to achieve my goal. I'd like to try my best to avoid losing them though, for through one of them my legacy continues. All in a nutshell, I may not agree with anything you do, but I will defend to the death for your right to do it." He was ready, and this only had one shot to it.
